What's new

What Vape gear are you currently eyeing up?

Let me just resurrect this thread :D

I have been eyeing up an SXK BB for quite a while now (don't even know why, I always looked at them in the past as being fiddly and silly) and Fasttech has finally shipped my order for one, that's been pushed back for quite a bit.

Apart from that the Hellvape Hellbeast Tank looks quite interesting, but I don't know wether or not I would actually ever use it.

Also looking at the Vaptio VEX100, but it's not yet in stock anywhere in the color I want.

Seeing alot of reviewers received absolutely stunning kodama sets from asmodus, has me wanting a V2, it'll be by far the most expensive piece of gear I've ever got if I pull the trigger.

I'm not eyeing up anything at the moment but I know I should be.

I've currently got one dual battery mod and I know I need another one as backup but I can't find one I like.

I don't need TC or anything fancy as I vape 0.8Ω kanthal at 18W and I like it that way but everything I've seen is butt ugly.

The prices on those Kodama editions are crazy for a mass produced mod! Chipset is very decent but far from the best - should the chip go wrong at some point, your only option would be to buy a standard mod and somehow remove the chip/screen to somehow re-fit it in the Kodama?

I'm not trying to piss on your chips, honestly, and if you really like it and can afford it then knock yourself out :)

My personal choice would be to go to an independent mod maker and have something custom/unique made with a DNA/YIHI chipset fitted, those boards are readily available should it go wrong and, Dicodes aside, are the best chipsets available for vaping - Dicodes are arguably the best but only come in 80w max variants.

Our very own @vapesmarter could make you something equally as beautiful as the Kodama, with a choice of the above chipsets, for significantly less - check his site out.
My own personal dream mod would be a DNA 250c made by Fyne mods, it'll likely cost you a bit more than a Kodama depending on wood choice, but he makes some stunningly beautiful mods and is local to me (I like to support local businesses) - again, check his site out.

Best of luck with whatever you decide to get :)

Got an Ehpro True & Damnvape Fresia on the way (slowly)
Only other MTL I'm considering is Cthulhu Hastur (not mini but 3.5ml)
along with some bits, extra air ports, new lid, bubble glass etc... bit of modding/tweaking
but ramps up the price from say $20 to $30+ and not sure if I can be arsed tbh

See what if any is better than I'm currently using, thin out my collection a bit maybe
after that I think I'm truly sorted unless I decided to turn to DTL which I don't see happening
maybe some flavours/concentrates but I'm well stocked on VG/PG nic etc...
think I'm near enough set and ease up on the new monthly shiney stuff & just chill

I’ve looked at the Kodama it’s a semi gloss finish not a mirror gloss due to the resin being different me and 2 our mod makers polish to mirror

It makes a big difference to how the mod will look ask @Chris K as “Corey” lives and breaths for him
