What wire and wick etc ?

Ok, so I'm using a T3 and trying to mod the coils/wick etc. I've watched various videos, but the folks always seem to end up getting lower resistance than they set out which ends up with me getting pretty confused.
If I wish to build a coil with a resistance of around 2.5 ohms then what wire and wick do I need to use ?
I'm looking to improve the amount of vapour and flavour that the T3 produces, using a 1100mah eGo battery as although I love the T3, I find almost no throat hit or flavour.
I'm vaping 70% Johnson's Creek Tennessee Cure (100% VG) mixed with 30% Dekang DK1 ( PG ), at around 3.7v. Can anyone please help ?

If you want more throat hit and flavour you want lower resistance, ego batterys a 1.8ohm coil is what you want, 4-5 wraps of .20 kanthal should see you right
