What's wrong? Vape seems tasteless?

Hi all,

Been vaping for two weeks now with a Kanger EVOD starter kit. I initially had a tobacco juice which I used for one week in the same clearo, then I received two kraken juices, dumped the tobacco liquid, and have been vaping those since.

I put Squid Ink into the second new tank and starting vaping that. Taste was immense from the start, however tonight a week later I can't taste a thing from it. I did clean the atomiser and dry burn it yesterday as it was tasting rough, which cured it last night, now tonight it's completely tasteless but still producing good vapour.

Any idea what's up? My other tank with Minion Farts in (the original 2 week old one) is doing a bit better but also losing some taste.

Is it time for new atomisers?

Sounds like a case of vapours tongue. It happens to me if I vape the same flavour constantly.

Yep. I agree with the above. I switch to a menthol based vape for a while, it seems to refresh the palette and the taste comes back. Strange but true!

Was gonna ask if it was me! Just put a new atomiser in and it's the same

get some strong menthol juice and vape that for a day or 2 and your taste buds should come back. sometimes we go through ( and occasionally still get vapours tongue where essentially everything just tastes of nothingness, lots of plume no flavour and menthol is a good one to cleanse the pallette

Should add that I vape 3 different flavours throughout the day which keeps the taste constant. I start with Mentolyptus, switch to Absinthe mid morning and finish the evening with either Black Licorice or a Cinnamon and Allsorts mix.

Eat some toothpaste and all will be fine for a bit.

Or give your teeth and tongue a good hard scrub, then rinse with mouthwash, wait for an hour or so and you should have a relatively good taste back.

Ok thanks for the advise, will give them a go. Is it worth trying something like chewing gum during the day?
