What's new

where do i go now?

Hi Hugepiles, I am in exactly the same situation. Started with the jacvapour v1p kit and now I am not sure what to do next. I am getting tempted by the vamo but I can't make my mind up whether to go with that or stick with jacvapour and get one of the vgo2 kits. At the moment it feels very much like I am a junior vapour with much to learn and for that reason I am probably leaning towards staying with jacvapour for the time being and trying out the vgo.

Actually I have just been looking at jacvapour after reading about the nova tanks above, and they now have a variable voltage starter kit option (http://jacvapour.com/all-products/starter-kits/crystal-mini-vgo2-manual-400-starter-kit-947.html) that I am sure wasn't there the other day so I will probably be getting that for now. I'm sure a lot of the good folks on here will probably advise me against it and I am also sure I will end up getting a vamo a few months down the line, but for now this kit looks right for me.

I think I have found the solution to the vgo 510 adaptability right here, I was looking last night, but forgot, now, this is very good news, as you could use any nova, kanger, cartomiser on it: http://www.ivapour-elixir.co.uk/parts/adaptors/901-kr808d-battery-adaptor.html

GrahamD the kit looks a good step up with 2 vv batteries with a good range, I don't vape over 4.5 most times and to be honest my optimum level is around 4v the batteries won't last as long as the bigger kit but you do get two so if it looks right and feels right then go for it and yes you might end up getting a vamo in a few months but its all about finding the right equipment for you

With all the options out there it feels that sooner or later I am going to make a bad choice on what I buy so for me it's just a case of easing myself in slowly. I do like tinkering though and the vamo looks good for that, but at this stage I wouldn't know exactly what I was tinkering with. I do keeping asking myself why I went with the cigalikes to start with, I remember really wanting something that still felt like a cig to hold but I have never held them like a cig.

Also the 510 adaptor that Merino-Teflon has found above will open me up to a whole world of extra stuff so thanks for that!

I reckon most of us just for a cigalike in a supermarket etc, coz it is there, and so it begins, then we find out more, and despite the costs and all that, all the other elements of vaping turn it into a hobby in a way, which is also a useful distraction from the fags.

Edit: I had a blind spot to this yesterday, but this page has an 901/808D to Ego adaptor too, listed on the page, which would be a handy device also: http://www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=35#5692

Thanks for that, although every website link I follow I find myself spending about ten mins looking through all of the other stuff on there thinking hmm yes I probably do need that, or that juice looks nice I wouldn't mind trying that! I can see how it becomes a hobby of sorts and I can see it getting expensive. Saying that I am still trying to be good and I try not to buy anything until I can afford it in money saved from not smoking. I am currently £10 better off, but I will be back in the red once I get my new kit. Only for two weeks though and that includes stocking up on some liquids as well so it's not bad I guess and I feel much healthier so I wont complain!

That's what I used to do when I switched, end of the month spent the equivalent on what I would have spent smoking on Vaping equipment

Well, thanks a lot for the warm welcome, and all that advice... excellent fodder for a hungry mind!

Will chew on that valuable info that you guys have provided, and let you know my next step... that is if I can actually manage to walk properly after running out of my favourite 'roid cream :D

I'm sure I'll have more questions soon - now I know where to come for answers...

Appreciated

Hi again... not sure if this should maybe be a new thread?

Anyway, in between treating my 'roids I've been looking around and came back full circle to jacvapour again. Blind subconscious customer loyalty? Or just plain common sense after dealing with them before?

What I'm looking at is the Crystal Mini Vgo2 starter kit, which looks to me like a basic clearomizer? Still an 808 thread, but hey... I looked at the options of buying the items individually, but actually all things considered the kit is probably worth it for me long term - you can't have too many socks or batteries (2 are included), and i also need a compatable charger for the manual version, as I believe the 5v charger that I have just now for the auto isn't any good (comments welcome)...

My idea is to eventually replace the crystal tanks with rebuildable ones when the time comes, and work from there...

The kit is 40 sobs, although I think I may have a discount code that will get me 15% off, and I'll just top up the order with juice to get free postage.

Please feel free to drive large amphibious landing crafts through any catastrophic holes in my thinking...
