No spare unfortunately. I posted on the FB page last night and they said to pop up and they will exchange. Not had much luck really. First Kanger base was duff too. My second one went bang yesterday. Took it apart last night and the coil had broken.

So hit and miss this business.

very much so, those coils are finicky things and with all that bumping and chucking about between manufacturer and here, it bumps the % that do fail up a wee bit.

I popped up to http://www.ecigmods.co.uk/index.htm today and we tried another cartomizer but it caused the same nasty burnt taste. Tested it on a couple of batteries too.

It seems the ohm rating was too low with the 2.5 cartos that are supplied with it, coupled with a standard eGo. We tried a 3 ohm one and it seems fine now.

Big respect to the Sam there for his patience and helpfulness. He really wanted to solve the issue and did.
