What's new

Who's had it, how was it, and how are you?

Oh no! Not again. Hope it pisses off soon mate. I've had it twice, 1st time was when we had it at the same time and then again I had it 2 years later, same time of you mid Oct. The first one was the worst as u know, we kinda went threw it together didn't we.
Tbh I rarely go out, just to the office once or twice a week. I'm still not back to normal health since the first time ffs!

Take care of you

this variant seems too affect your breathing more well in my case anyway, had the blocked sinus & cough which has almost gone, it feels like a cold but deffo aint that its an arse kicker for sure & reckon i got mine at the hospital.

I had it a few weeks ago, after my Bro called to say he and his missus tested positive. We all gathered for my mother's 82nd birthday meal out a month ago. As for the symptoms, it just felt like an annoying head cold with some flu like symptoms thrown in for good measure. Then again, when is a head cold ever not annoying?! I was bed bound for a few days, but recovered quickly after that. I'm my old self as per usual once more. I think it's first and only time i've ever had it....unless i was non symptomatic in the past...dunno....never tested myself.

Good to see you Duke. Glad you're ok.

Oh no! Plenty of rest for her. Is this the first time she has had it Andy? I know she in a risk category. I'm sure she will be fine, lots of fluid and over the counter meds to treat symptoms, u know the drill lovely
Third time, like me, and always caught from me. I worry about her age, she has different symptoms and problems though. No one much talks about covid now but loads of people, esp. older people and those people in vulnerable groups are still being smashed to bits by it. For me there is always a lasting legacy, from every new variant bout of covid I catch.

Yep I agree Andi
It can be serious for the vulnerable I suppose like flu can be too. I hope she and u make a quick recovery
I didn't realise she caught it every time, hoping she has built up a bit of a resilence

Update:

My wife is recovering well, which is a blessing. I, on the other hand am still mired in fatigue, lack of appetite and a new one I think - nausea :19:

Well quick update, I had a doctors appointment this afternoon, she decided it's not covid, but more likely to be this viral chest infection that's doing the rounds, which makes sense a close friend has it & how it affects my breathing the doctor agreed & I've been put on another course of antibiotics which I collect tomorrow from the pharmacy.
