Why you should mix your own juice.

If anything I think @oldhippydude is overly optimistic about the effects of article 20 of the TPD. That is why I have chosen to get so actively involved in the politics side of vaping. I think there are countries in the EU that will choose to implement the letter of the law whilst leaving large loopholes open that defeat the spirit of it, but the idea that the UK would be one of these frankly belongs in cloudcuckoo land. When has the UK ever paid lip service to this type of EU regulation?

Errr...
The Data Protection Act would be a good place to start.

Mixing your own is fun and cheap........hehehehe.
I only bought a couple of ejuice when I first started 4 months ago.
Then I made a goal to mix it myself for satisfaction, I wasn't too happy with the e juice I bought....

Yep same here.. I spent a shit ton of money on juices that weren't to my taste. You can tweak them to suit your taste.. Maybe most people would hate my mixes and I'm just being really forgiving of the crap I'm creating :)

This is one of the blogs I have been reading recently and this entry covers a lot of how I feel on the subject

It’s Time For The Gloves To Come Off | Fergus OnlineFergus Online
A nice read but with two glaring errors.

First he calls for unity in the vaping community and then finds himself completely unable to resist having a dig at TW - hate is a strong word. He just gave us a perfect example of what a riven cross-section of society vapers are. Unification is needed but I see no such thing. Good luck with unifying it if that's part of the battle cry.

Second he fails to include the validity of the do nothing approach for those of us who have thought it through just a little bit. I won't be smoking, I won't be using cigalikes either. I do my little bit but I certainly won't be standing up and fighting. There is another option so no shots will be fired at the Maidan in this little issue.

Attacking apathy is banging your head on a brick wall, not to be recommended. I guess this comes down to whether you consider vaping to be a lifestyle choice or simply a way to replace smoking tabs. Think I'll keep my gloves on and my gimp mask in the bedroom.

You are right the vaping community is large and varied, and that is both a strength and a weakness. Our very complexity and variety is what makes the charges of astroturf so laughable and visibly so to anyone that bothers to look.

Personally I am choosing to be active so if you have a spare gimp mask I am sure I can put it to good use :D I respect the right of others to choose not to do what I am doing, but you are going to see me popping up with stuff like this from time to time. It was on this forum I came across the first bits of information that led me to where I am now so I have no qualms about adding to the trail of breadcrumbs for new vapers who might not yet know about the situation.

You're a star Diche. :) ... hygiene is important with certain kit, sharing ain't an option. :)
Just reading the brown nosed responses on that blog makes me cringe. Instead of trying to understand the sheer breadth and potential of the vaping community they're busy burying anyone who isn't in line as delusional, witless optimists, stainless steel tube worshippers and Kanthal twisters. The frustration of failing to unify is only leading to even more division. They're making the same mistake as the astroturfers.
I do respect what you're doing, forgive me for defending my position.

The world would be a very boring place if we all agreed with each other all he time :D
