I dunno for series builds, steam-engine is your best bet for that, when I do my single broadside I use a VTC5A and 5 wrap 24AWG Nichrome round wire spaced, 2.5ID dual coil in my Drop.

18 wraps of Nichrome 80, dont think thats gonna work lol

Might need 28Ga or 30Ga Nichrome 80, or Brochrome?

I did say I was using 5A's but the optimum if you had the money would be the D's (until the next best thing comes out anyway)

I've no idea how to build for series, sorry. I'm happy with my single tubes. I shied away from the HoG group buy cos it just aint my thing. Maybe others can help with series coil builds.

I think you need to also look at coils of bigger than 2.5mm diameter, even up to 4mm if the deck can accommodate them. Still a good amount of wire, in fewer wraps.

First 2 builds were 4mm then I did 3mm on the kanthal for more surface area faster ramp up time

I think I caused the 2.5ID distraction. I was using that because anything bigger was needing too much cotton for the drop to tuck down or it was giving me spitback if wicked lighter. So 2.5ID was the perfect compromise for me.
