I recently brought a Vamo V5 and Kanger Protank 2, all had been great the first day, but since i started swapping the Protank to my Evods i started getting loads of leaks from it, i checked to make sure i am running the Vamo on RMS and i am using Watts on it so i pretty sure for all the read on forums this is correct, but it capes great for about 20 mins and then it starts to either leak at the bottom, or start spitting the juice though the drip tip.

I using about a 2.3ohm with 6 watts, i have tried testing both the Protank and Evods on my cheapy ego twisty and works fine. i also tried this on volts at around 3.6 - 4v.

Any advice why i am getting these issues, i can only guess it me but unsure what else to check now.

Thanks again all.

I've found all the bottom coil set ups that I've tried so far have been a bit on the leaky/gurgly side.

I think it's been suggested that if you take big, deep drags using evods then this can happen and that blocking 1 of the air intake holes on the bottom of the evod can help. There would probobly be a more restricted airflow on an ego connector than the vamo, so more air may be getting pulled through as you take a drag and causing this? Maybe try a bit of ptfe tape to block one of the holes on the evod and see if it helps?

Can't validate this though as I ditched the bottom coils I tried.

Ah ok not thought of that one, both evods and pro tanks are rather airy so i can see how this could happen :) Thanks loads. I give this a test and see what happens.

pro tank mini's are far better :) just my opinion tho

also try vaping @ 7 to 8 watts was better for me on the vamo :D

Thanks @MadTz I have a pro tank mini and not thought of testing with that one, so i also give that a shot :)

I hate evod's to airy for me but i can just cope with the pro tank 2 just because the vape is nice from it :D

I have this problem sometimes with the protank, on my SVD.
It's caused by the coil flooding. I have to vape them at 10watts to counter it. Where as the evods I can vape at 7-8 like madtz.
Plus as steffijade says, draw to hard on them and this increases the vacuum in the tank, which in turn increases the juice flow through the wick. Again flooding the coil.

6w is pretty low. Try upping the watts to 8 or 9, you wont get a massive difference in vapour production but it will start quicker, what I think is happening is that you're pushing the fire button and drawing on the tanks but because the watts are so low the coils are heating up slowly and you're effectively taking cold hits for the first part and slowly flooding the coils...

I love my evod on the ego twist battery, works well and great air for me, just it hates the vamo :) as ya said thou hopefully the pro mini will work on it, if not i have to use the ce4 it came with.

I am finding if i go around the 9 - 10 watts i get a more burnt taste from it, so i been using it lower which gives a cleaner taste i am liking more. I know i do draw hard on my units as i always smoked that way with analogs :( Guess my smoking style has caused issues with my vapping style.
