A little help with leaks with Vamo v5

on mine i held the left button which shows battery left, keep that one held in for 10-15 seconds, when it shows rms then let go, if it shows something else then re do the same button until it does show rms or in some device no2.

no1 is like other said mean voltage or average, which tends to taste ewwww
no 2 or rms is good taste more :) i also use watt mode and not volt mode as it keeps the power the same, in volt mode it can change as your battery drains i read.

Hi hi thanks for that it was the left - button av it's saying mean how do I change to rms looked all day on net for info tar

For some reason "average mode" or N01 mode on a vamo means "way way way way wayyyyyy higher than you think that you have set it to, no I'm not kidding probably closer to 15watts than 7 watts" mode. God <or your preferred deity> only knows why it's even there.

Investing in an airflow controller is a good plan for a Vamo. (Or any mod atually) If you get the airflow going into the atomiser right it can help lots with improving the vape and you can pick them up for a couple of pounds. Safercigs have them, Kraken has them, we're getting some very soon. On a vamo it also helps to make the 510 threads last longer as an added bonus. (As you're screwing the mod into the controller threading and not the vamo threading)

I must admit the first time i used it i forgot to switch it to rms mode, and it was just omg, then like Shiptoshaw I tried the normal method to do the switch with no luck, finding out it was the - to get it into rms mode.

But anyways.... This airflow controller sounds the perfect deal for me :) Will have to make sure i keep an eye on your site for when they come :) Thanks for the help as not heard of these before.

Well i tested it with my pro tank mini yesterday, and it did the same with that. :(
I even tested it with a new coil in the evod and pro tanks but still the same, and when i went above 7watts it tasted really burnt still. :(

So after a few checks online i think i found an issue with it, on one of the review videos i seen before buying it showed hoe well the voltage is, and that it hold its voltage well under load.

So (being electrical mind for a living) i tested the volts it kicks out, and it is really off what it shows. 3v gave a real reading of just 1.46v, and this carried on though out all the range apart from at max 6v which did actually show 5.98v.

I since contact the the vendor who had not heard of this happening, so it been asked to be returned to them and they can inspect it, hopefully this is what has been causing the issue for me.

I update you once it been checked and returned.

Can anyone else with a vamo v5 check their voltage thou for us with an oscilloscope or multimetre ? be interesting to see if its normal or just a bad one. I hope its just me being unlucky as i sure the voltage you set it too should be the voltage it gives.
