A little help with leaks with Vamo v5

6w is pretty low. Try upping the watts to 8 or 9, you wont get a massive difference in vapour production but it will start quicker, what I think is happening is that you're pushing the fire button and drawing on the tanks but because the watts are so low the coils are heating up slowly and you're effectively taking cold hits for the first part and slowly flooding the coils...

i guess this does sound right for me maybe i need to fire a little longer before i draw too.

So much getting used to, seems my old way of smoking does not agree with vapping.

I had to change the way I vape too because i was getting the same issues as yourself

finding a balance is key in the search for a decent vape

I found a good balance around 7 to 8 watts that's why i suggested it and also try slower longer vapes instead of short hard ones

I do use a Protank and a mini, I've flooded both through drawing too hard or while not firing. I fire the instant I draw and stop firing the instant I stop drawing. This seems to work for me - You may also get dry hiy issues with Protanks and Evods caused by thick / cold juice not wicking as easily as it should, usually you'll vape fine for a good while then start to get a bit of a burnt taste, If that happens just a very short sharp draw will usualy sort it - infact on Protanks you'll actually see a bubble appear as liquid rushes into the wick...

I guess being still new to this i tried running before i can walk lol, I'll set the Vamo back up tomorrow and give this a try along with the other idea in the thread, i got my ego at mo for the night now to keep my craving away from the smokes lol.

I been using really runny juices so far so i have seem these bubbles on my Protank 2, I try a shorter draw from tomorrow when i get it all set back up and see if that helps out on it.

I got my trusty ego to help me while i get threw this learning curve, so i am not gonna give up as i know its the way forward.

Hi all how di I check I'm using vamo 5 on rms just got it today no experience on these mod thingies but so far so good I can't seem to go past 4.5w or tastes a little strong/burnt I'm using a 2.6ohm kanger mini 2 protank

just push and hold the up/+ button for around 10 secs..the display will change to NO2, which is rms mode.
If it shows NO1, then you are in burnt-taste-mode

Hi thanks for the reply I tried it just showing what ohms av got in the atty spent half the day looking on the net but to no avail still showing same result ohms!

on mine i held the left button which shows battery left, keep that one held in for 10-15 seconds, when it shows rms then let go, if it shows something else then re do the same button until it does show rms or in some device no2.

no1 is like other said mean voltage or average, which tends to taste ewwww
no 2 or rms is good taste more :) i also use watt mode and not volt mode as it keeps the power the same, in volt mode it can change as your battery drains i read.

On mine its the other button, the one that shows battery left.
