Advice on first SXK

I probably take the Boro's out a couple of times a day, but that's more to check that there isn't any leaking or dampness on the kitchen roll. I noticed early on, that there was a bead of juice at the bottom of the Boro after filling, so that always gets dried off as soon as the glass goes up. (With a paper hanky, much more gentle and absorbent).
The Original has never been as damp as the SXK, despite being really careful with both of them.

To add some clarity........
When we are talking generally about Sealing, we had been referring to sealing around the Positive Pin is the receptacle into which the Boro goes.

When @MavicP mentioned the Board being sealed that was in reference to some of the newer models appearing to have a seal of some sort covering the Chip and switch surfaces to prevent the Ingres of either condensation or liquid.

I have experimented for one week now with a new approach to filling my Boros. Instead of my usual method, i.e. filling whilst the Boro is still in the BB, I have now done a week of removing the Boro to refill. The reason was that whenever one slides down the Plexiglass, a bit of liquid transfers onto the outward facing edge of the Plug, so this was just an experiment to further reduce any chances of a potential failure.

Can't say it has done much BUT the piece of Kitchen Roll behind the Boro is still Bone Dry!! It's a faff and no mistake, but I thought I'd try LOL

I noticed that myself and have since always given the lower front of the boro and the plug a wipe after filling.

Mine has been great actually, I’ve not even been bothering to take the tank out and check the last week or so (had been doing it most days until then) and had the same piece of kitchen roll in the back for weeks, bone dry. I flooded it yesterday with a build in the exocet that for some reason didn’t work, it seemed to be shorting somewhere and also flooded the thing but other than that no liquid at all inside the device, cotton in the plug has also stayed bone dry.

Decide to upgrade $35 to the DNA60, seems wise on reading up more, also I am willing to pay that on pretty panels, I need to work on my priorities.

Im guessing the stock boro that comes with the sxk 60w can be used with stock coils and i need another boro for the vapeshell such as the one below:

The boro you have listed is for the stock coils only.

The boro in the link you posted will only fit Atlantis coils, not nautilus or the vapeshell as the hole in the bottom of it is too big...
The boro that comes with the billet box with fit the vapeshell and nautilus coils...
Which aspire coils are you looking to use, Atlantis or nautilus ??

Thats perfect then, the boro that comes with it fits the vapeshell. And if i order a separate boro it will be for the aspire atlantis coils.

That’s right, order the boro from your first post for the Atlantis coils and the one included with the billet will be fine for the vapeshell...
