Hello all, quick bit of background, i have been vaping for a month now, rushed into it a bit, i have a TW RCS set up, a Zmax v3, 2 Protanks, an Igo-l, a mixing kit and a few other bits and pieces.

I am now thinking i want just a straight forward mech mod and a nice rebuildable atomiser, I have 2 18350 batteries and they are fine for me so i want to keep it nice and small, i am looking at:

Mods: magneto, like the look of this one.

Atty: I really like the look of the Kraken, but i think thats out of my budget so, its a
Fogger V3, a SC Silica tank, or a ismoka magoo.

I don't mind a bit of fiddling with the wicks etc. i just want something nice looking and more importantly something that give good vape & flavour.

any suggestions welcome!!

cant really fault what youve already mentioned, fogger, KFL , an RSST is always a good starter for 10 atty , the Magneto is a nice mod ( check Todds reviews on magnet issue and fix) , also the Gallileo Mod from Smok too
i would suggest looking on greyhaze where youc an get both a nice mech and the atty too

the Iching looks a nice dinky mech and this is a great looking atty too

Thanks, so much choice! yes i like the iching. i think i am talking myself into the fogger, but what about dual coils? i can see myself wanting the option at least. does it make a massive difference?

and would any one like to buy a slightly abused kidney?

ahhh dual coils.. get yourself a smoktech scar dripper . just for the hell of it.. amazing little dripper and at £8 its back of the sofa money.
i know drippers arent everyones cup of tea and took me a while to decide on getting one but when im at home i use it all the time over my RSST and with some cotton wool in there and can easily stick in 20 drips and get a few hours vaping out of it

I knew I should have got that over the Igo l. Lol. I love the dripper I may well trade that up and get the fogger and a cheap dual coil dripper for home.

Hello again all,

similar to the op I am thinking of a bit of new/different kit. My mod is one of those variable watage/voltage jobies. Question why might I want a mechanical mod? They are more compact I think. But what of the lack of control over the power to the coils? I have not got round to rebuilding replacing any wicks and coils yet but when I do surely the variable watage is easier ( or not ) Will I need some kind of resistance meter to use a mech mod.

Confused Richard

U don't need an ohm tester but it could stress your batteries if you keep putting sub ohm coils onto it so it is advisable to get one or you can check the resistance on a lot of the vv vw mods I can do it on my zmax as long as it's 1.4 or above otherwise it says low load
