aga t wicking materials and wire

hey guys just a quick one, I purchased my first rebuild-able the other day the aga t and it came with some horrible silica wick which frayed and didn't really wick well, just wondering what the best materials to use for the wire and wick are preferably some form of gauze/mesh, had a quick google but nothing really came up.

Sorry darthvapour didn't answer your question!! 400 grade mesh and .2 kanthal wire is always a good staring point

+1 for Stealthvape; He does sampler sets of wire - I think its .2 , .17 and .15 but it lets you try them out cheaply and find what's best for your skills and the sort of resistance you want. You can also pick up some silica wick as well as mesh so you have the option of trying mesh only, silica only and hybrid wicks. Todd's video on his AGA T mod and building U wicks is well worth a watch too.
