Aga T2 - Poor vaping

New problem.

So ive managed to get a solid 1.8 ohms with 32g kanthal at 10 wraps. Im using ss mesh with cotton at the coil which has stopped shorting and regulated my ohms.

The problem now is that the vapor is crap. Its wet enough above the wick so juice is getting through ok.

This is at 8 watts

Mango 50/50 which is enough for me really, on my Protanks they vape awesome. Got the hump with it and built a 32g 8 coil with a 3mm silica wick instead of SS mesh

Flavour is great, vape is like a CE5 and not as good as my protanks (incase you havent guessed I love my protanks) and its a really hot vape but no burning

FML lol

I'm using a microcoil . . . . could I be choking the wick?

SS rope wick With a ekowool sleeve or cotton wrap, .20 kanthal, 3 or 4 normal wraps, should do t trick.

I'd second that, plus drill a bigger air hole

I'm gonna order some rope in the new year, just tried a looser coil and that works better, still a very hot vape even at 6 watts
jimsie33 As much as Id like to drill a bigger hole, I don't have the tools or the hours to do it lol, shouldn't it perform without modification?

No modification of wick hole,9 watts gets me this.

Oh wow. Is that the t2 did you drill anything out?

Vapingmonkey, no it is the Aga-T version 1 with the threaded top cap. No holes drilled on the the top deck, just opened the air hole up in the top cap. The rope wick is either 2.5mm or 3mm (will have to check when i get home) with 3mm ekowool wrapped around and 3-4 wraps of Kanthal-D (Flat).
