Asking a warm vape to a TC mod

same settings just tried with 2,5mm coil, same results..
used less cotton than in the pictures before

now I tried to rewick the 2,5 coil and comes 0,32ohm with 7 wraps, same quantity of cotton than before but I cut it before the channels, and it vapes great with the liquid control always keep at max (I used to keep it always wide open as afc.
I tried to cut the cotton like this in the past few days and it was working also with 3mm coil, but the only BIG problem I'm experimenting is..it's impossible to refill, you have to fill from the top and it leaks a lot, literally it piss everywhere, I keep it upside down with a tissue and from the DT it comes around 1,5ml of liquid.. (and I avoided to fill it completely, I left 4-5mm of space in the tank.)

OK THat sounds like a wicking problem, I don't have a Cthulu so you'll need to find someone who has one - @MrTeaTime - Youre a dripper type fiend, do you know anyone who can help?

but even using an ubertoot is the same, also for have the same vape at 250C on the evic, I have to choose 260/265C on rx200, and can't stay on more than 20w.
if the coil is hitted with low watts due to the tc protection, it doesn't vape how it is supposed to do..

That is what it is supposed to do, it is supposed to reduce power to maintain the set temperature. That is the whole point of TC, not everybody likes it.

If you want to vape at a constant wattage, then vape in power mode with kanthal or SS.

Have you tried using a Tank with pre built TC coils - something like a Subtank Mini or Atlantis? A go with Pre built coils should let you know whether TC is for you and whether this is simply build problems, Mod Problems or just that TC Isn't for you.
Try borrowing a Subtank or something, use it with TC Coils and see what kind of Vape you get - I'm still convinced that this is due to build problems and that you're simply having difficulty with the TC concept - Remember the "Temp Protect" message simply means the Mod thinks the coil has reached the set temperature, so you just have to investigate why it's doing that...

right, but I know there is people vaping Ti at 220-230°C and having warm vape.
If I set the temp to 260, it's still cold-little warm vape, and I'm not a huge fan of high wattage, never vaped more than 30-35w.

unfortunately not, I don't have any atomizer with remade coils, but I'm starting to think that could be a wicking issue.
when I prime the coil, probably I put "too" much liquid, and the result is that the first 4-5 puffs are really warm, I wish I could vape at that way always!
but this is an rdta non an rad and I cannot put liquid on the coil every 4-5 puffs :D

Yes, definitely a wicking issue if that's the case. Given the care and attention you have been putting into your wicking, I suspect the atties you're using are simply quite difficult to wick for TC. The answer might lie in getting a more TC friendly tank.

I think as you that could be a wicking problem
Coil to near the holes? Need lifting?

Keep trying you may crack it.
thanks for the support :D
I used to leave 1-1,5mm from the air hole, now I'm using 2-2,5mm from it..not really a big difference, but is worth trying everything :)
