Best bang for your buck 200+ watt mods. (Preferably not an actual bang)

Don't get me wrong here, I love all my smok gear, both my aliens, me gx350 and the skyhook.
But you mentioned "build quality", Smok are not always known for their quality. If you go for an alien and you get a good one, it's gonna be almost bullet proof, just like my gold one. But if it's one of the not so well made one's (so to speak) it could well fall apart in a week.
I've been lucky and not had a dodgy one yet.
Having said that I have had other brands in the past that have failed in less than a month.

I know exactly what your saying and hence why I'm so worried about my next purchase. Really am leaning towards another alien though still (if I do hopefully will be a nice one) either that or a smoant battlestar is looking like a safe bet.

Might not be 200w but I never get past 100w.the minikin boost is imense.

Yeah 155 watts is more than enough, I generally never went over 80 watts on my alien just like the thought of having more power available lol.

I loved my alien but just feel it's dated now. Tend to use it for work only. Wonder if they will be a true replacement soon. Alien 2?

I like that one a lot, but it lacks the info the alien has like amps and PCB temp (I liked those little features) doesn't mean I wouldn't buy one though. Edit oh and it rattles like hell, that's off the list.

Rattles? Nope mine doesn't. Temp and amps no it doesn't have, but pretty pointless stats IMO.

Haha yeah aliens is a must. Had it since December but I've got 4 other mods on the go so they all used a bit at a time.

I watched like 2 different videos and each one showed button rattle from fire and adjustment buttons? Rip trippers and grim green? Hmmm... The plot thickens.

Fair enough, maybe I got lucky. A few people on here bought this mod recently, so maybe others will chime in with thoughts...

So I bought an I joy captain and was told by reviewers it doesn't rattle, it came and it rattled.

I'm put off buying a smoant Charon because of reviews saying it rattles and potv user says it doesn't rattle.

I'm going back to cigs lol
