No, its like super good, it comes in sliced bread, hot dog, and hamburger buns.
Its common here, i dont know if its just an american thing or not tho

i’m on it. you can make it with sourdough. i think it will be a winner with some rosemary and olives in the dough.

It's about 80,000 a year in the UK, so about 220 a day. 16% of the total of all deaths.
Exactly.

Another preventable death number that i have found people don;t care about.

20 people die a day of covid and they want to lock the country down. 200 people die of smoking and yet its fine because they choose to do it. Thats where i see perspective in public health tbh, 1000 a day fine but 20? Far bigger issues that people turn a blind eye to.

I have even had someone challenge me (a smoker) on the basis of that they pay tax. Which is true, but does that mean the tax on a pack of cigarettes is the price of a life?

I'd rather see more public awareness on this sort of scale for the danger of smoking when it comes to deaths. The problem thus far is that all this is new information, from washing hands to death numbers. So many people treat this as negative, if we only ever had 20 deaths a day from covid then that is open the country back up and go back to normal figures in comparison to other deaths per day.

Yet its still presented as doom and gloom, like its the end of the world and we are all going to die. We aren't, we just need to focus on protecting those who may, rather than locking everyone down for potentially a slight cold in terms of symptoms.

If the media published smoking death numbers as widespread as they have covid in recent months, would people give a fuck about smoking killing people?

So Hancock is promoting reporting your neighbour's for flouting any coronavirus restrictions...........

What's the point if folk get away with it......

The gov statisticians aren’t looking at the number of deaths today as the problem (sad as they are). They’re looking at the number of new confirmed infections today, and calculating roughly how many people are going to die in the next 3-5 weeks. People don’t die of Covid 19 straight away, if there’s a huge spike in confirmed infections happening now, the spike in deaths will be in 3-5 weeks time. There weren’t 1000 deaths a day in March when we went in to lockdown, deaths peaked in April and May.

I don’t think any comparison between Covid and smoking serves any purpose whatsoever tbh, it doesn’t clarify anything :)
