Carto burning problem

I feel embarrassed to ask this but i have come to the end of my tether, these bloody cartos.
I bought a carto tank, needless to say you need some cartos so i got boge 510 LR, I was really looking forward to trying my new tank
Watched a lot of the videos that are out and about, felt ready to give this ago, then the problems starts.
Used the condom method first then tried dripping from the top to fill these. The problem is the burnt taste, its terrible.
I've already used two cartos and half a bottle of juice, as you can imagine this is becoming quite expensive
I thought there was enough juice in the cartos so i topped of some more and even given them a shake but still tastes like shite.

Can one of you knowledgeable people tell me what I'm doing wrong before i sell every thing on the classifieds.

The condom method IMO is shit.

Get yourself a blunt needle and syringe, Poke it down the side of the carto, between the foam and the wall of the carto, fill slowly. Take a safety pin and poke the shit out of the foam to release any air bubbles that may have gotten trapped inside.

Try adding a little more juice.

If the foam inside is not wet, it will burn. If youve burned them, they're pretty much ruined the taste is hard to get rid of, but if you can deal with it, you can vape through it for the most part until it is almost gone

Gotta agree with this. Condom method never worked for me.
Just to add, what mod are you using? As theyre LR cartos you haven't got your voltage set too high have you? Instant burn if you have.

interesting as last week was my first venture into cartos and loved the simplicity of using the condom method ....good point that last one though re voltage setting

I'm using a KTS Storm its not variable voltage one but i have a 18650 battery in it
I was using LR cartos as well, now I'm wondering...?

that should be fine cos still only gives the same out put just lasts longer....

Just checked it out and should be fine as it's a mechanical mod. Looks like its probably the condom method I'd say, I've burnt cartos using it. Just didn't work for me. KMS's method and advice is spot on I'd say if you can't get on with condom method.
Nice looking mod aswell

No, LR is perfect for a non VV mech mod, I still think the coil wasnt wet enough. SR cartos will suck monkey balls on a mech mod.

What u using to punch? And how many holes/juice ratio?
I usually punch 2 holes on a boge using 50/50 juice. Higher VG usually requires more holes I've read but having said that I've used bobas bounty (100% VG) with just 2 holes and it's been fine.
I dunno what else to suggest but condom method was shit for me and I burnt cartos instantly just the way you describe.
