Ceramic Coils Help Please?

Have you seen this:

Finally, new products are emerging like coil-less solutions for atomizers, half way between ceramic-glazed wires and the metal alloy. It is the case of the Yihi’s SX Pure whose longevity exceeds 2 months, according the manufacturer, for an intermediate price between microporous and glazed wires. The tolerance of such a coil-less heating element to high temperature allows pyrolysis and self-cleaning properties, according to its manufacturer.

Dear Lord it's like commenting on the riddler's thread.
Yes bud I remember and it proved to be nonsense. They died just as quick as any other coils. This was the period we tested ceramics here as we where pretty excited at first.
Hope you get on with yours but as I say, unless used in conjunction with a mod designed to specifically work with them (vaperesso ccells with the armour, gen ect) I didn't like them at all. Either too cooil or too hot and power draining.
There's been many alternatives I've a few here I've tested. Usonics, the wismec strips and joytech plates. Some good some not so good.

Check the date , it's 2016. Those tanks were only able to work on an SX Pure setting only available on SX boards & never took off. The SX Mi has a ceramic coil pod & it's been such a success YiHi brought out an RBA.
