Cleaning a new atty..??

I have cleaned my new Foggy V2, 3 times with a scrubbing brush in hot soapy water and rinsed and dried each time with vapers towel.. but cant work out how to split the base, it has a taste.. not sure if its machine oil (cuz I dunno what that tastes like) its not a burnt taste I don't think.. I have tried several different juices..

It looked and smelt clean when it came, it looks just as clean now and it don't smell any different.. no swarf or signs of machine oil came off it whilst cleaning it..

Its now soaking in a glass of Vodka overnight (waste of good bloody vodka probably).. and wrecked a good build..

Any other suggestions on cleaning it or what the taste might be..???

Not sure on that one, might be the cotton, I think you need to prime it properly on a foggy, but don't quote me on that.

i had problems with the fogger and burning too u need to get the cotton right to the fucking millimetre or it dry hits my solution was ekowool

If it is machine oil then the best thing I've found is to scrub the components with isopropyl alcohol. I got a cheap pack of toothbrushes just for the job too.

don't know about fogger but I use isopropyl alcohol on new devices specially clones, then gallons of water as you don't wanna inhale isopropyl
