Custard Lovers Advice Needed Please

While we are waiting I knocked this up two weeks ago and it is pretty special

Cliff's extra special super custard

5% FA Premium custard or M&P's Indulgence (very similar)
2% WF Van cream extra SC
2% FW Bav cream
1% FLV Van Pudding
1% FA marshmallow
.5% FA Irish cream
.5% CAP Super sweet

See. I t wasn't that hard, was it?

Interesting with the Irish cream in there, I've tried that, it does work, imo adds body to the exhale. I'm currently messing with FA Oak Wood, it's promising. The thing about custards is getting the sweetness in there without overusing sweeteners is quite difficult (I've found), I note the extra sweet and use it myself, but I haven't gone to 0.50 yet, usually around 0.25%.

The Irish Cream does something to take it into an interesting place for sure. As for CAP SS, Somewhere between 0.25 and 0.5 is enough without becoming unpleasant. Of course no one is allowed to change this value or the mixing police will descend upon you and exact their vengance. Grrrr!

@andi52 the oakwood is a good look for adding to custards. It definitely elevates it and adds a nice edge. Some of the stranger inw tobacco related ones are great with custards in low amounts as well (tobacco smoke and prunes especially. And smoked plum. I intend to mix a custard blend with little space drop and rosemary too but haven't got round to it).
