im guessing if its on a normal thread then yes it will be viewable without logging in and it will also be picked up by google.

you could password the pdf. nothing will stop people who you give access to it sharing it but there's many ways to keep casual people from seeing it.

Good idea, but the thing is how to give out the password? If you are going to PM the people that want it, you might as well just copy and paste the recipe and PM that instead..
