Did you literally chain vape when you first quit stinkies?

I'd have to chain vape 3mg all day even now....... 35ml in 5 days doesn't seem a lot to me, I vape around 5ml a day of 12mg, so I guess i'd need about 20ml of 3mg a day....

I cut down to 6mg in part because the flavours I like very often aren’t made any stronger than 6. And I found 12 a bit hard on the throat.

I did chain vape initially and I think it's the right thing to do. Did it level off over the next 3 years, um...maybe a little.

Haha, I quite enjoy it at the minute and can possibly see myself vaping 0 nic juice for a while once I wean off nic.

Yes, and that was MTL discovered DTL and enjoyed it more, but stillchainvape after 3 plus years

I chain vaped when i 1st started vaping that was 5 years ago now and i still chain vape now from time to time all depends on what iam doing and what kind of mood iam in at the time.....

But you did gradually cut down on the amount over time?

I used slightly higher nic at first (18mg MTL), and definitely chain vaped. I wore out 3 MVP 2 mods in the first 9 months, and at the time they had what was considered a large internal battery, but this wore off, gradually, over about a year.
If I got a craving at all during my first year Vaping I Chain Vaped 'til it went away.
I'm still a heavy Vaper, but I was a heavy smoker too.
It'll be 5 years Vaping and not smoking this time for me, so it does work, but takes effort for sure.

I was chain smoking 3 in a row sometimes and knew that cheap tobacco on holiday would make it even worse.

I don't think I'd manage even 6mg nic in this tank it would be overkill and possibly less satisfying over all.

Yes.
I was still trying to chase the cigarettes. The nicotine was doing its job but I was trying to replicate the tobacco taste.
That will probably change as you become a non smoker and you may want something tastier than burnt leaves.

Yeah years ago when I first tried vaping with a little evod all I was trying were tobacco flavours specifically caramelized ones.

Gone straight onto a candy floss this time and really enjoying it.

No and yes.
No as I gave up with a mouth to lung tank at 12watts and 18mg juice.

Yes. 3 years down the road I vape 3mg in subtanks at 50-60watts at home and the mods are in my hand continuously. Average 25-35ml a day.

I'm on much lower mils than that a day but I've only got a single coil tank which probably helps a bit doesn't it.

I’ve been 9 months off the fags and I’m still chain vaping, as with the roll ups, basically because I like it. The difference now is the feeling of necessity is gone and the nic has gone from 12mg to 6 and now to 3 mainly with one tank of 6 as a top up. Cant imagine slowing down any time soon.

Yeah I'm really enjoying it too.

Strangely it's more satisfying than the roleys in a way in that it's tasty and I still get the nicotine fix.

I tried a 6 mg in my local vape shop and it was so harsh on my throat.

Then a 3 mg and it was much nicer, still a little bit of throat hit but a nice one.

I'd probably end up in hospital on a 12 mg haha or back on the stinkies because I'd only be able to vape once an hour.

The reason i use 3mg is because i changed my vape style and obviously the 12mg i was using would be murder on the throat. with MTL vaping at 12 mg i was inhaling a lot less vapour . An easy way to put it is MTL and DTL equate to Smoking a joint and using a bong. obviously the bong will give you a bigger hit but the hit needs cooling hence why it travels through water which makes it less harsh, so to keep the hit around the same when vaping you lower the nicotine for DTL

The hit I took of each the was the same, the only difference was the nicotine level.

But like I say I think I've found a nice balance between nicotine and vaping to keep my nic levels acceptable.

I think with a higher nic juice I'd probably vape a lot less and maybe find it harder to break my little smoking habits/rituals.

The morning coffee and two roll ups still feels weird lol

For higher Nic juice using a MTL tank like a nautilus and taking a drag like you would on a rolly may suit you at times to help get more of a nic hit or you could try Nic salt liquid which is a lot smoother but hits faster. Whatever works is always good.

Thanks for the info mate, is the nautilus a higher resistance coil or something?

Or is it just the way the tank is designed that determines the type of drag you take?

Short answer is both.

Quit Cigs 10 weeks, started MTL at 18mg but was soon down to 3mg DTL, still chain vaping most of day, but it`s not in my hand all day now. How you work and vape I dont know, glad I retired.( If anybody needs to dual fuel for a while dont look at it as a failure, you will get there )

the original nautilus had the option of 1.6 and 1.8ohm coils so used at 10-14watt max.
since the nautilus 2 came out there is also a option of a 0.7ohm coil for 18-23watts.
these can easily be used with 18mg nicotine which wont blow your head off unlike using it in a subtank with lower ohm coils like 0.5,0.25 at much higher wattage.
