Hi all,

Been watching various vids on mixing and like the idea of measuring using a digital scale but I'm struggling with finding one that does 2 decimal places in ml.

Anyone got any ideas please?

Wow..!! Thanks fir speedy response.

They read in ml?

You won't find a scale that does mL as that is a measure of volume. You have to take into account the specific gravity of the liquid. Water has a specific gravity of 1 so 1ml = 1g but with vg 0.8ml=1g as it has a higher SG

EDIT So mixing by weight can be done, but it is better for larger volumes, rather than a 10ml bottles (imho)

Wahhhhhhhhhhh why ain't nothing ever straight forward? Lol

Thanks for the tip bud. I'm sure the missus kitchen scale reads ml, just doesn't do below 1 decimal place.

Revert to what Wyn68 said. No scales will measure in ml as different liquids have different viscosity, so there won't be any scales that have every liquid pre programmed into them.

The scales might say ml but they are probably guessing that all liquids have a SG near 1 unless they have an option built in to select the liquid. Personally I wouldn't trust them for double cream ;) or VG

Get 'ejuicemeup' it's a program where you can enter the weight/ml values listed above and it does all the maths for you. It's very simple and very easy to do compared to syringes ;)

No more spending ages trying to get the VG out the bottle!
