Does Anyone Use A Coily

I have seen this coil measuring tool and i think that is what someone on a youtube review called it. Is there any need for them or is it another coiling nick nack to waste your hard earned cash on ?

I have a cheap knockoff that retailed at a third of the price that 2F gifted me. Very handy for postless decks.

@John R Would you recommend on then, just watched a video and it got leg lengths right on 4 different RDA's etc, it seems to work.

For the price of the original it's a no brainer. Makes leg length guessing a thing of the past & there's a large database of RDA/RTAs leg lengths on Coilys site. Plus Simon (the creator) is a nice guy

They look usefull for decks that need the coils cutting before fitting. All of mine the coil legs are cut after fitting.

like a coil jig is not needed as most screwdrivers used for post screws are 2.5 or 3mm but usefull to have.

You can get free knock-offs with certain tanks, Vandy Vape I think, I must have a dozen of them plus a couple of Coil Father clones I got from Fasttech. Very useful, handy to keep a note of the leg length for each tank/dripper you build too. The days before the coily involved a fair bit of guess work

@nwhornet yeah all good with the Firebolt, it's helped me judge how much Cotton Bacon to use so it's been really useful.

Got mine from Naturevape i think the guy there had a lot to do with the Coily being developed so it's a original one not a fake
