Correct, this would seem to coincide with the Biden administration rejoing the WHO last month and promising them all their millions of funding back.
And yes, knowing how the war on vaping is being spearheaded by democrats, and how they keep repeatedly forcing thru legislation in secret with no vote about it, i can almost guaruntee that an aggresive anti-vaping stance was part of the bargain.

i think it's entirely reasonable to legislate a future for vaping which consists only of closed systems. KISS works, it tends to win the day, no point fighting it.
Legislation tends to be focused at the lowest common denominator. Be honest, there are too many stupid fuckers doing stupid fucking things with open systems so the nanny state will seek to save us from ourselves ... there's nothing healthier than a profit. It's the way of the world, common sense has left the building.
Personally, I'm way past caring where vaping is headed. There's fuck all I can do about it other than to remain resilient in order to persist with the open systems that I use. Keep an eye on the threats, work around them. It's very difficult to live life with a smile on your face whilst gnashing your teeth. Frankie says relax.

Sweeping statement, would you like to detail some of those "stupid fucking things" people are doing, obviously I'm aware of people with mechs and dodgy batteries and batteries not in a case, what else is there? I don't see an epidemic of stupidity where vaping is concerned, apart from shinyitis.

adding the recreational drug of their choice to their juice
adding oils to their juice mix
massively overflavouring their juice and vaping it excessively
installing builds which are way too hot for the atty to handle
vaping on burnt coils and wicks
dry hitting on poor builds
unsafe battery practice (can of worms within this)
uncontrolled access to and use of mechs (another can of worms)
unsafe concentrated nicotine handling

My Take, man was born free but some man has made up fucking rules for others which is bollocks. The whole world needs to look at itself and think why are we putting up with this shit.
Folks have a choice to do or don't do, to say yes or no etc so why critisise folks for adding stuff to their vape juice, as long as it is for their own use, it's like saying it should be illegal to add jack daniels to your coke. let folk make there own mind up.
Safety this is important so the only thing that should have any credibility would be the use of mechs. I use mechs and so do many others but the problem is some don't know what they are doing .
The WHO need calling out on this as Tobacco is way more harmful to health yet the WHO won't try and ban it. Corruption rules again.
On another note the ban wouldn't make any difference to me and most of us as we have enough vapegear to last our lives. DIY ingredients will always be available although nicotine may become hard to get.
