At last someone with some light to put on the reasoning for no pitch for the above.
Thank you
VaperCaper.
I still stand by my earlier post though. A fest of any sort, without a pitch for an info tent. With all relevant info in one place, did seem strange. But now someone, has pointed out that no-one has that type of pitch, I understand why even EFVI didn't get one either.
As for all the vendor bashing, from ALL sides. Someone has already pointed out , that the queues are big enough, without the vendors spending time explaining anything, about anything, to anyone. That's why most events have a special info. stall/tent. The vendors, as I see it, are there for one reason only. To sell me their wares, just like the beer tent and burger van.
Regardless of your views, of those involved, (I don't know them). Or your view of how the event is being managed. Once you have voiced your personal opinion, like I already have. You should leave it at that.
I for one, am disappointed with the organizers decision. But that is their decision to make, and will not stop me from attending.
And as a side note for those that say they won't visit a vendor because they aren't visibly supporting EFVI. Regardless of what media they are on. Actually do the exact opposite, with on-line vendors, markets stalls, fleabay, etc, etc.
Go on hands up who's guilty. I know I am, and I'm not afraid to admit it. If a vendor has what I want, at a price I can afford, sold, regardless.
Once again this is MY opinion, and not that of potv or other members.
