EFVI not allowed at Vapefest 2014

Would just like to make it clear that our descision to not be there if EFVI were not permitted to have a considered appearance was nothing to do with pressure from any other party apart from myself and my partner. Vape fest was never going to be about making money for us. And that is the gods honest truth. I'm sad this has happened as planning and prep was already taking place.

EFVI have not asked to have a stand at the entrance so they can force feed information to anyone and everyone, merely a stand (like other vendors) where people can visit if they want to.

I'm already sick of it all ... I have limited patience for political bullshit

I WILL goto vapefest whatever, coz to me anything like this is about the people there, not about the political message, or even about the cool gear. just the social aspect ..

I think its a shame this whole thing has become somewhat of a Rose garden,funeral of sores rather than a rose garden .. time to party amongst the flowers.

I am aware of the high feelings running through this because of where we stand politically with vaping etc. I don't understand the position of NOT allowing EVFI from the face of it, on the other hand ... we have yet to hear the reasoning behind it .. could be that a: there is a reasonable explanation and b: its all kinda gone out of proportion.

Last I checked it was still innocent until proven guilty yeah ?

This is such a sad situation which has been blown out of all proportion by one person with their arrogance and downright disrespect that person should be ashamed of themselves

In my little and insignificant opinion, I love vapefest and can't wait to go. I'll be gutted if it gets cancelled due to an arguement. Whilst we are all entitled to our opinions (and encourage inteligent debate here) I think we all need to step back and let the people directly involved sort it out. People need to step back because all this fighting based on rumour and fire fueling is more damaging to the whole vaping scene.
personally I think the vapefest organisers are all bonkers.....for putting themselves through all this stress to bring us vapers a great day out to celebrate vaping and the friendships that have been made through it
I understand people's anger and frustration, but getting militant is not the answer, put that energy into fighting the good fight, direct it in a positive manner and don't jump in when you don't have all the facts.
