Electric Kettle Vaping

I'm no expert as I've just started using TC but I looked online at which wire types worked with TC and saw that there are TCR sharts which show all the different wire types and their resistance figures for TCR mode.

In the main it looks like you have nickel, titanium and stainless steel that all work in TC and NI80 is definitely one of the wires on the TCR chart. The only material I could see that doesn't work for TC is kanthal. I'm only going with what I read online though and other people will know far more about TC than I do.

This is the wire I use and it's certainly working on my setup

Once you go tc, you just say “Wee-Hee” :18: Okay, that was really bad :17: But I have never wanted to look back after I started with tc! Just today I put a kanthal build in my rta for a change; it is just not the same. There’s nothing that can compare to tc imo. Truly happy for you, it’ll give a great deal of pleasure, I suspect :2thumbsup:

Yes, the difference is really noticeable. Even with a 6ml tank the puffs stay so much more consistant and you don't get that weak flavour at the start after refilling.

What I can't get over is how simple it was to simply change one setting on my mod. I thought using TC would be far too complicated so I never bothered until now.

I think tc scares a lot of vapers, but it is much easier than most think. Like anything, you have to learn a bit, and one should read some (or ask here) before they start up. My curiosity was originally piqued by the Repeat mode on dna mods. It is the consistency that keeps me exclusively using tc, and the depth of flavor. It’s a shame that so many deny themselves this pleasure because it seems so complicated or they just can’t be arsed :21: And there’s way too many mods/chip sets that don’t offer tc, which is rubbish…

I think I'll start a new thread for those who haven't tried it before to maybe give a few people a nudge and help them improve their vape.

You have misunderstood whatever you're reading. Ni80 has NEVER been a TC capable material

No it's not, no matter how often you say it.

Technically Ni80 is TC capable, but it's TCR is so low no mod is capable of handling it to sense the resistance change, fact...

Thank you both for that. I have plenty to learn about TC mode. It does seem to be working really well on my setup though so I'm not really sure what to say.

Could you teach me how to use TC mode please. I only use ni80 or ni90 coils.
