EU regulator: No evidence to support restriction of Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine

I don't think it's really fair for me to advocate the vaccines for them and not be willing to take it myself.
Touché, it's the main thing that got me over the line, I'd advocated to my wife that she should have the vaccine, so, how the fuck can I not? I told my wife that, and we discussed the subject. I said "If i was living on my own, I wouldn't have had it. But I have to have the jab, because you did, via my bollocking recommendation, plus, I cant afford to bring the virus home, and infect you"

I'm still blown away by the science behind these vaccines and our understanding of viruses and immunology as a whole. The rapid advances made over the last few decades are truly astounding. Makes me sad sometimes just how short life is because I would love to see where our scientific and medical capabilities reside in another 50 or 100 years.

This stuff always reminds of the simulation theory. There's just something very "computerish" or "programmable" about it all.

Not enough people have died (7 younger ladies so far?), for it to be a concern - apparently.

In the UK 8.2 women die in child birth out of every 100,000 births.

60,000 hip replacement operations carried out and 164 patient deaths.

That's the perspective of why it's not a concern. In the medical field it's seen as a tiny risk and tiny amount of deaths. It's so small you can't even establish a cause/ direct link.

It's certainly worth watching but there's no need for anyone to get hysterical.

The point is, they wouldn't have died, if they hadn't had the vaccine. It's irrelevant what else they might've died of, covid, childbirth, car crash, whatever. But it's ok, they died for the better good.

Death as a side effect for a vaccine isnae good, no matter the stats

It's not good, but we knew there would be some.... right?

There's always 10 - 20 deaths from adverse reaction to the flu jab every year, but many of us still have it.
