Fasttech postal issues - May/June 2019

In a thread i posted myself yesterday about the same problem i'am having at the moment i ordered 2 mech mods both the same just different colours
one says its being returned on 17tracking but Royal mail say its leaving china the other one has gone though ok and is coming to me today i really dont no or understand whats going on in china at the moment i guess we shall just have to wait and see once they come back from their Dragon boat holiday.........

I have 4 packets in various states, seems a mixture of shipping methods even though I chose e-packet, I know they are having issues in China with tightening up customs, I'm guessing FT are experimenting the best way to ship as it's obviously hitting them too.

1 contained an internal battery so that's going to take longer.

I rarely check now, they turn up when they turn up though 1 turned up yesterday unexpectedly quick so I had a nose, it was still showing in Beijing.

I've seen the tracking on my last purchase show it was sent back to the processing centre after ariving at Beijing air mail centre but its since been altered to as if that didnt happen and now says its been on a plane for the last 8 days.
I've had the tracking show its on the plane for this long before but usually just means its being used as a football for a while at uk customs.

I've just had an item delivered that I've been given a replacement for as it was classed as missing in action three months ago.

Has anybody contacted fasttech and asked what’s going on? You could open a ticket on the item in question.

The ft order I got yesterday seemed quite quick.
I always just leave ft to choose any free shipping method they want in this case it was Hongkong post.
Just over a week for delivery.

I have never checked tracking from ft. Arrival is always a surprise. It is either surprisingly short like this one or surprisingly long.
I do think one of the advantages of free shipping is that ft are quick to change methods when one method is giving them problems.
I used to buy my 18650s from them and they were quick to find alternative routes as others were closed.
It is a couple of years since my last order from them but i remember then that everybody seemed to be of the view that epacket was the way to go because deliveries were taking a couple of weeks but in my experience my free shipping was mostly much the same.

Just leave ft to choose the shipping method and they will choose the one that gives them the least amount of grief from customers waiting for deliveries. Whatever method we or they choose things will sometimes get caught up at borders. It is just the trade off we make for the cheaper Chinese prices.

ive got one on the way by e packet and the delay so far for me was stock. was sent 2 days ago and has reached:
2019-06-08 04:46 Beijing Post Express International Branch Collection Center has received (Chowangiang)
from this its normally 3 days to pass security so will be keeping an eye on things.
