I've just ordered a small amount of mixing suppliies from leisure liquids - 50ml 52mg nic base 100mlvg 50mlpg a few syringes and drawing needles and a few flavour concentrates.
I know how to use the mixing calculator but just wondered how do I know how much flavour concentrate to add?
the concentrates I ordered are capella flavour drops and one tasty puff.
Thanks in advance.

normally its between 10-15%
this is the best calc out there
http://ejuice.breaktru.com/

you can save recipes and added bonus ( you install it with an exe btw ) once youhave it open click file and opena nd you will find 100's of recipes included and when you select one it fills in all the chart for you

Hi.
I have been mixing for about a month,I am afraid it is a bit (hit & miss) start low with the amount of flavour 3%/5%for tobacco..5%/10% for sweets..only mix small amounts to try 3 or 5 ml...you only need small amount if using pg only, a bit more if using pgYou will get there thru trial and error...bet of luck and let us know how you get on and any tips welcome Cheers Jim

i don't get on too well with pg have a sensitivity to it so i'll be making 80%VG 20%PG mixes so I think i'll need more as i've been told VG can mute the flavour a bit

Thats a great calculator, we use that one too.

Start off by mixing small amount, no more than 3ml as a tester just to make sure you have the flavours correct and that suit you, then if you are happy make a larger batch. Our taste buds are crap so we use a high percentage of flavouring in our mixes but that is personal preference. Its a long road but you will get there in the end. This morning we have been vaping on two juices that have been steeping for 3 weeks and the flavour is amazing.

Enjoy

I test the flavours before adding my nic....saves money as the nic is the most expensive ingredient. I add flavours first, give em a good mix, then pg and give a good mix, then VG (good mix) taste test.....then add nic and give it a blast with the frother.

^^^ +1 on that just flavour and vg/pg nics expensive!

Just a heads up on the Breaktru calc which I use. You need to change the drops per ml from 20 to 30 if you are using drops to add your concentrate.
I believe that is because our cousins across the pond tend to use glass dropper bottles so their drops are bigger :umm:
