First RDA Twisted Messes or something else?

Hi everyone :) So after an exhaustive amount of research into build safety/ohm's law/Apes' opinions, I've decided to take the plunge and buy an RDA. I'm using a lemo 2 on a Segelei 150 tc mod at the moment, cotton bacon-( took a long time for me to get decent flavour out of that thing-another story-and entirely down to user fault, whilst tackling the learning curve!)

So my question : Is the "Twisted Messes RDA" a good choice for a first time RDA builder that is only really interested in flavour? I'm a bit useless when it comes to building coils to be honest, and will probably buy a couple of the fancier pre-made coils to put in this- will only use it at home really, will have the lemo2 as my out and about tank(I find the coils easier to build for it). I tend to stick to 80/20 juices (element range are my go to)
Any recommendations(Coil or another atty)/warnings/preferences are welcome.
Thanks in advance :)

Twisted Messes have alright flavour if you're using some big builds, like claptons. But it has pretty weak flavour with normal coils.... And the velocity can be the same....
If I were you, I'd get a derringer. Amazing little atty, great flavour and super easy to build on.... I wish it was my first RDA....

Derringer

Thanks for the suggestions, I am having trouble finding a seller for a derringer in the uk :( not planning on buying more than one for the foreseeable future (famous last words), so would prefer to buy an original, rather than clone.

edit: it is there on the ukecig store for £72.49 - reluctant to use this store, down to a minor bad experience personally and from reading about horrendous reviews on the site.

With all of that said, would you still recommend it over the £42 Twisted messes RDA?

Are Clapton coils usually used for sub-ohm vaping? I use a 0.5 ohm coil in my lemo 2 at the moment, but that's more down to not having built a 1 ohm coil yet, and still figuring out the sweetspot for flavour on the Lemo 2(incidentally, any advice on that with my build is more than welcome :) ).

It all depends on what you see yourself doing with it, if you want to have the option of coil building, then the TM is by far the way to go. There really isn't that much difference in flavor at all tbh. you can build higher ohm claptons, just by using a higher gauge for the core, say 28G.

It's a lot of money to spend out on a Derringer, for something you may not get on with, you can pick up clones from £7 which work amazingly. I can't really compare the quality difference as I don't own the authentic, but as far as I hear, there's really not much in it, and you can always pick up the authentic later down the line.

Haze mini is my flavour dripper (I'm using it right now) it's retired my derringers.
My twisted messes comes out when the house is empty and I want to chuck some very low ohm clouds.

Hmm, I'm thinking I should stay away from 'minis', until I'm really comfortable with building, one of the main attractions of the twisted messes was the large deck/juice well/post holes.
in your opinion, would I be making a mistake with the twisted messes (flavour wise) considering it would be my first dripper- I feel like the flavour difference between that and my lemo 2 would still be a good enough step up?

You did say in your first post that you would be buying in pre made coils. The Haze is a 4 post deck. I've got a pair of claptons in mine. Dead easy to build on.
If you can build a Lemo 2 you can build on most things. The deck size on mini, and full size drippers isn't very different. It's mostly height. They are mostly 22mm at the bottom :)
Saying that. The twisted looks the mutts nuts, and will still give decent flavour if you shut the holes down.

The Haze Mini is larger then the Derringer.
