Hi all, well my first lot of diy vaping supplies from Vapable.com are being delivered today. Instead of one of their kits I bought things separately as I have loads of spare bottles cleaned and ready to go. I have only ordered one concentrate for now but will be ordering more payday, Have got Capella peach and reading the reviews it needs to steep for a few days.
after reading threads on here and watching youtube vids I feel almost confident about it all, just a few questions first please.
Does the nicotine need to be stored in a fridge or will it be fine in a cupboard? I will only be ordering the smaller amounts.
When steeping I presume mix up the juice and stow away in drawer for a period of time? does it need a good daily shake?
Last of all (sorry), Can anyone recommend a good fruit concentrate for shake and vape instead of steeping? preferably from Vapable.com as I will be puting in another order soon for 4-5 more concentrates.
Many thanks in advance. Terry

Sorry I forgot to ask, Has anyone used this concentrate? or a rough idea as to percentage I should use? I was going to go for 12-15% ?

Normally 15-17% is enough but I like tod more and end up mixing everything with 20% for more flavour.
I never tried vapable so can't comment but vampire vape has wide range and 'd definitely recommend to try "Pinkman"

Hi, Try storing nicotine in a brown glass bottle away from light and air as much as possible, because it causes nicotine to oxidise, changing its colour, but not changing its properties. Keeping it in the fridge is fine.

make..steep and shake every now and then...no set rules re steeping...although most juices will benefit from a couple of days steep.

I see vapable have flavour west beetle and jungle juice concentrates...could be worth a go for shake and vape...although I have not tried either.

15% seems about right for your peach..I tend to use 18-20% these days...but again its up to you and you will know.
Make a small 10ml batch in the first instance to try.
Gd luck and enjoy.

Mixing small samples is very good advice,
Start low on the % you can always add but carn't take away,
Make notes of all your mixes easier to replecate if you find one you really like and then forget the reciepe.
I always leave out the Nic on my samples as its probably the most expensive commodity in your mix its better not to waste it, add the Nic % from your notes when and if you find it you like your juice.

Well, I jumped straight in and done a 20ml first mix. 70/30 VG/PG @6mg, 15% flavour. Gave it 6 hours and my curiosity got the better of me, Primed up a new coil and lined the tank for a few lung fulls and Meh!! heavy vape with a chemical peach bland taste, So did a quick calculation and added 1ml of VG and 0.3ml of flavour. I have just tried it now and wow what a difference, smooth thick cloud with a juicy peach taste so will make up a 30ml batch tonight of 75/25 @5mg and leave for 48 hrs. I have ordered a litre of VG from ebay from a supplier mentioned on here and 6 more flavours from vapable.com. I will be watching these mixing threads more for a stab at multi flavour mixing. many thx for this forum and you guys.
Oh and yes in my order is a bottle of beetle juice, thx @weepapagirlrappers
Sorry, just one other thing, is it natural that the mix looks thicker than other premixed 70/30 juices?

Your nic storage will depend on how much and for how long. If you've got a small bottle, 100mls or so, just keep it with your concentrates, a cool place out of direct sunlight is sufficient.

It's only when you consider laying down in bulk for longer periods, like years, that storage really becomes an issue. Then you want glass bottles with medilock caps, filled to the brim, kept in the freezer. PG based is reportedly much better than VG based for longer terms.
I have a 100ml glass bottle which I keep out for day to day mixing. Everything else is in 500ml amber glass bottles in a freezer.

Thanks, it`s only a 50ml bottle of 72 nic. I had to keep the cost down to stop my wife complaining as it was part of my starter kit costs.

your welcome
The premixed juices are prob thinner cos some distilled or pure lab water has been added to the vg usually 15-20% this is called AVG
