Just perusing online I came across a whopper of 500ml/1000ml of base liquid.
What are your experiences/guides for using flava concentrates with plain base mix? Are they worth it? Recommended suppliers?
Lol I'm just thinking if doing some math and wondering how much is needed say per 50ml of base liquid etc.

Cheers!

Ah - just found a e-liquid mixing calculator: https://www.vampirevape.co.uk/advanced-mixing-calculator

Still looking for your experirences though - and any Twister Lolly concentrates that are spot on!

Quick calculation approx with 10% flavour
To make 500ml 6mg:
Base 280ml of 500ml = £10
Flavour 50ml = £10
Nic shots x 17 @ 18mg = £15

Total = £35 for 500ml of 6mg Liquid.

Look ok?

It all depends on what kind of concentrate you get. Some you need to mix at 1% and some you need to mix at 20%.

Cheers - yeah thank you - had a butchers on the DIY/recipes forums and there's a post just like this for "my first DIY mix"!
Think I'll save this experiment for when I've a few quid spare that I don't mind literally going down the drain ( how bad does that sound - first world problems!!!) :2thumbsup:

You can’t really go wrong if you get decent concentrate and follow the directions.

If you're just getting started with mixing, you might also want to consider trying one shot concentrates with already blended flavours. Easier starting out, and still some savings that way.

I would recommend starting out with one shots too - as above, they use multiple concentrates to give you a finished recipe that has been tried, so you don’t have to start from scratch.

I also personally think it’s better to buy VG and PG separately. It just gives you more flexibility to get the finished VG/PG right even when varying the amounts of concentrates used.

vg and pg from whoever is cheapest. last lot was from vapable with free delivery over a tenner.
ive gone nic free for the first time for the above two.
