What's new

Had the jab

Everywhere aside from my head :18:

Oh dear.

My side effects, from the second jab have mainly (atm) been rashes and itches, which I put down to the nerve damage in my spinal cord/ lumbar spine. It's like a nest of ants on my back, for the last few weeks. It's quite manageable tbf.

Fire ants for me. Hopefully we'll both bounce back soon and can forget about it :grouphug:

2nd jab yesterday

Process changed, this time it was book in with reception, wait, chat with someone, then jabbed by someone else.

As before I had a brute doing the injection. Felt sick and my legs nearly gave way shortly after (same as before). Haven't got full use of left side and my pain levels are continuing to increase*. Usual meds don't help and if they rise to the level like before I'm calling the Dr for something better.

*Apparently it's normal for people like me and the injuries / damage I have, please don't panic and think this is normal for a large percentage of the population!
Hope the meds work or you feel better soon. :grouphug:

Cheers @Mitz @Crewella and @rew meds are not doing anything, but I've managed to get by typing with one hand, just have to make it through tomorrow as I've got Friday off and thankfully I'm still working at home.

Pretty much deaf in my right ear, although my hearing is randomly restored then becomes poor again. So much so that I cant hear or understand what people are saying, when they have a mask on. My wife has noticed that I cant hear properly and a mate says I was talking very loudly. Never had this issue pre first and second jab. I'm fairly certain that deafness has flagged up on the yellow card scheme, although I haven't gone looking for it.

I don't see how I can, impossible to get through on the phone to the doctors, even if I do, they won't do face to face and I'd need referring to a specialist or something, a GP isn't going to be able to help with this, if it is jab related. I'll probably just leave it and hope for the best.

Edit: of course, just realised I'd ring 111 and get triaged, probably to A&E? fcuk that, I'm not going into a covid distribution centre / covd factory. Knew I shouldn't have had the jabs, should've gone with my gut feeling instead of having the jabs, just because my wife did, and to help protect her, due to her age and risk group.
