I know from personal experience (owned a busy arts Microsoft community for a few years) how stressful it is - not least when conflict breaks out in the forum, as I was continually sat between the "it's a self-policing anarchic community that needs no moderation" brigade and the "string em up from the nearest tree" camp - so the minute I took (or didn't take) action, the hostility turned from the guilty party to me. I'd even get it in the neck for having the audacity to be asleep when a dispute broke out.

Hard work!

Now I just get it at work instead - but at least I get paid for that, however paltry the amount!

Best support I can give is to remind you lot not to let it get to you - some people think that they can say whatever they like online, however rudely, because they're hidden in the ether

i can be pig headed arrogant and outspoken bastard sometimes and argumentative to the point where its not good for me but thats how i am in real life.. wont take any shit and wont put up with it. its got me banned froma few forums in the past ( just had my 3rd ban lifted on a photography forum 0 all because ive lost it at someone who has been bullying other forum members and ive essentially gave them a large piece of my twisted mind and threatened to come round and stick a tripod where the sun doesnt shine. ( i guess that would be a super sized dual 18650 vamo in vaping terms).

honestly really does piss me off those little cowards who dont have the balls to stand up and say something out in public and have to hide behing emails and the like.. they deserve to be outed because end of the day they are nothing but weak and will so learn they wont be tolerated

In all honesty, no one has to be here, no one is forced to join or even stay after joining. If some one dont like something then you dont have to comment, just click back or new posts and move on to something else
