What's new

Hello vapour-ers & vapour’ets. I am still smoking But????

Hello good people, now vaping. I am confident & impressed, thank you for the words of encouragement. Has anyone have an opinion on titanium ice? I like the name. lol.

My opinion is don't vape it neat ;)

It's 72mg nic base for mixing your own juices :D

For that purpose, it is really good though :D

As for not being a rush to give up smoking, neither was I, and I never intended to. Coming up to 6 months without one now.

If it cuts you down it's a bonus, if it cuts them out.... all the better :D

Vapemonkey1980: Thank you for the reply. Excellent, I now have it with the other essential necessaries.

Hi there

I bought my usual 400 cigs I was a bit miffed at the price. Later that day I read some government stuff which seemed to be anti so this got my attention. Found a link & ordered some e-cigs, watched a heap of videos on the tube. Now I am getting more interested. So I have ordered a pipe & some mixing juices. But I am still a virgin, as nothing has arrived yet. I should really give up the smoking but I have no inclination to do so. I am thinking if this is workable I should start breathing a bit better. I am hoping for delivery tomorrow & I do have faith. lol.

Hi, I myself recently cut from 30 a day to less than 5 (easily may i add), using the e-cigs. Might i recommend having more than one battery as personally i found at the start when my battery died or i ran out of e-liquid i was straight back on the cigs... I now have 2 batterys, awaiting a 3rd. i keep one charging while using the other one so they can be swapped.

Good luck kicking the cigs :newhere:

What matters is every smoke that you don't have! That's what makes the difference. Sometimes I have battery panic too. I Need to be more disciplined with charging.

Aloha man, was in the same boat, loved smoking but waking up and feeling like crap until i had my first cig in the morning as well as the price started getting to me. Tried to quit a load of times with every method you can name and then some and none worked. Until my brother got me a vape pipe for my birthday (well 2 months later but his timing is terrible), was a bit sceptical to begin with and the kit wasn't excellent so was basically just vaping when i couldnt get out to smoke. After a few weeks the tank went a bit yuck so i looked online for a replacement, found tons so researching began, got some better tanks, better liquid and then the dreaded shinyitis caught me and by then was really interested in knowing more and getting my friends to give it a try (most of which are vaping now too).

Dont expect to quit straight away, it doesnt work like that for everyone, i quickly went down to 2 cigs a day but they stayed for a few months until i just didnt buy any more baccy and have been vaping all the time for about 7 months now.

A few tips:
1 - depending on your kit and usage you might want to have 2 batteries (one for in the house and a 2nd for while your out) cause if they run out you end up back where you started
2 - try the flavours (tobacco is never right but there are some good ones out there)but in the beginning your getting your sense of taste and smell back so pick strong flavours (plenty stores allow you to try before you buy, take full advantage of that)
3 - PG dehydrates you so drink plenty of fluids
4 - If you have any questions ask, someone is usually able to help / give advice

My preferences:
1 - EVOD style tanks (the ones without the strands hanging down) I find to be better especially if your a heavy user
2 - Coffee / Caramel flavour are usually very strong or keep an eye out for a menthol one (if it says 'ice' its usually strong)
3 - Dont buy liquid 'as needed' have a little extra (or in my case a mini fridge full) in case you forget to grab some or you get tired of a flavour and want to change
4 - A Variable Voltage device, you'd be surprised what a little tweaking with the power can do
5 - Higher VG liquids, for when you want a thicker cloud

Anyhoo welcome to the forum

Good Luck and Happy Vaping
