Hello all and a happy new year from an almost vape virgin. I received my Innokin Cool Fire IV in what they refer to as "gold" but is more champagne to my eyes, reminiscent of old Marantz Hi-Fi separates, in the post today.

Everything was correct in the box, including a small bag with silicon O rings in. I assume they're anti-leak washers. My problem is that there is no guide or description of how and where they are supposed to go. I don't want to start mucking about in case I tear them as I don't have multiples. Does anyone know how they are and should be placed? Is there a diagram or page or site that I can look at? I've tried various wordings on Google but to no avail.

Any and all help wold be genuinely and greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I'd be very surprised if they aren't simply spares and that your set up should be ready to go.

Hey and thanks. Maybe but I suspect not tbh as I read a thread elsewhere where someone mentioned purchasing different colour O rings to suit their Innokin CoolFire colour. I've also had a good look at the tank and no rings appear to be already in situ. I dunno. Curious.

Pics of the dismantled tank and o-rings would be useful if you can. Is it the iSub tank?

^this imo also

if you let us know the name of the tank part of your set up or post pics as has already been mentioned, the forum will have you sorted and up and running in no time

@Mr Numpty is correct, they'll simply be spares, most tanks come with spare O-rings. You can however buy coloured ones depending on the tank - to replace the standard black ones if you wish...

I'm assuming you got your Coolfire 4 with either the Isub apex, the Isub G or Isub S - none of those have visible O-rings IIRC, but tanks like the Kanger Subtank do and there are usually 3rd party or OEM O-rings in extra colours for those...

Thank you thank you thank you. THat's all I needed to know.

"Marantz separates" - had forgotten about them! Ha ha, now I know exactly the colour you mean...

+1 to above; keep the spare O-rings, at some future date when cleaning the tank, the current set will disappear down the plughole.
