Help with DotMod AIO V2

I’ve also noticed that when I look down with a tank in and my drip top off the tank doesn’t seem to sit Center with the chimney, not sure if this can be adjusted with unscrewing the top I’m not sure I’ve never unscrewed it

That's fairly common with tanks I the dot aio. My dot rba tank (of all tanks) doesn't sit flush with the drip tip whole. My dotshell does pretty much though. Varies from tank to tank.

well I took your advice I used as little cotton as I could and still getting just airy mouthfuls with little flavour- honestly about to give up with it haha

Are you using a eliquid you are familiar with? As in do you know how it should taste or is it a new one?
Always good when testing a new tank to test with a flavour you are familiar with so you have some idea of what you should be getting.

Just re-read the last few pages. A: if your still using anywhere near the amount of cotton in your previous images I would personally say that's way to much. B: it is possible you are using to high a wattage for the eliquid you are using. Most eliquids will intensify flavour wise as you crank the wattage up bit by bit but at a certain point you can go to far & mute out the flavour with to much heat.
I used to run 1.0ohm diy kanthal coils at anything from 8-10w. For me at least anything above that wattage range was overkill & had a negative effect on flavour production.

thanks for the messages Mitch, I was using a 0.9 ss 316l that came out around 0.86 and was using it between 15-16 watts. I was using less than what was pictured but then when I saw the other images it looked like they were using a lot more than me, I’ll try on a lower wattage next time and see if that makes a difference but yeah not having a lot of look with it at the moment

This was todays failed wick- using a lot less cotton

I seem to just get very airy drags and a lot of coil popping, Not sure if this is a stupid question but it isn’t anything to do with my battery is it? I’m using a 10a 3500mah fogstar
