Help with first MTL RTA

Coiling and wicking in honestly (once you get through doing it a few times) is the easy part, getting the build just right consistently is a bit tougher, that's why it's good to play with the builds a bit, as the results are going to be a bit different depending on the tank anyway. Don't fill your tank on a fresh build, just fill it enough you can have a good blast on it, but don't fill it right up, if the build starts being problematic you don't want to be chucking half a tank of juice away to get back inside and fix/tweak/rebuild it.

It sounds like you have a great start on wicking your coil and know how to correct the problems that can come up. I use SS316L for my coils at about .5Ω and get a very enjoyable vape. I can't give you any advice as to flavor since I vape 60pg 40vg DIY unflavored ejuice at 9mg/ml nicotine. I also agree with what others have said and get a few different types of wire and experiment with different coils to see which you prefer. Also, pick up a couple of 10ml blunt tip syringes to use to empty your tank and be able to save your ejuice while experimenting with the different types of coils. Oh, for wicking I use Organic Koh Gen Do cotton. Good luck on your vaping journey.

I would recommend you the bottom fill RTA , because it's easy to adjust when you dont loose the juice. Also I would recommend you to try 1.8ohm coils around 13watts. You can reach this resistans easily with kanthal 0.3mm or NI80 0.25mm wire. try and try until you will find the best vape for your self.
good luck M8
