help

@Trev I would recommend an ego kit with ce5 if you shop around you can get one for around the £15 mark if not cheaper as for juice taste is so subjective and maybtake you a while to find one that like but if you get a kit let me know and I will send you some Gold/silver from misty which is tobaccoesque

Hi Mark, thank you so much for your help, please forgive my ignorance, do i go for a large battery and cartomiser, or do i customise later, i will buy an ego kit like you recommend.

Look at sharks35 comment above which seems a great entry if your looking at testing the water for vaping, Then if it suits you can then step up at a later day, at the end of the day the bigger the battery the longer the life between charging.

Hi Trev, now your sorted with an ego, the question of flavours. there are quite alot of vendors on this forum that offer small samples rather than risk buying flavours you don't like, it might be worth going through Marketplace or the vendor section on here and seeing which ones offer what will suit you. Don't forget to check out the discount code section for even more savings

@ Trev. Welcome to the forum Trev. I see your from Manchester, you are lucky, you have a very popular vendor in Manchester www.vapeescape.co.uk, he sells the starter Riva kits and if you ask Jason will replace the atomiser with a clearomiser which are easier for newbies to fill and then get used to before going into atomisers and stuff, which can be confusing for peeps who have never vaped before.
Good Luck, hope it works for you.

Well done on making a move towards vaping Trev. I smoked for 54 years, and at the end was smoking an ounce of amber leaf a day. At the start of last October I packed up smoking (helped by health issues) and I've never looked back. The downside (but there is none really) is that you can contract a vaping specific infection called "shinyitis" Which affects you mentally and you end up buying loads of new shinny vaping sticks / devices and hundreds of bits of paraphernalia that just seems to come popping thru your postbox on a regular basis. Aside from that vaping has brought a great community of people of all ages together, and there are many friends to be made here and on the other vaping forums. (Also some good deals if you keep your eyes peeled in the classifieds from time to time) Once again Welcome and good luck.

Hi and welcome Trev.

Many of us here are like you - I smoked rollies for over 30 years and nothing worked until I tried vaping. Gave up rollies there and then! I hope it's the same for you.

I agree with all the Ego suggestions they are a great starter kit. I have now got a vamo as well, but I only use that at home because it is bulky. I still use my Ego's for going outdoors because they can fit easily in a pocket. So even if you later want to get something else, it's not a waste. Also, it's good to have a spare device that you can use while the other is charging.

As for juices, there is a huge selection. Like others have said, many start with tobacco flavours and then try other flavours and prefer them. What flavours do your normally like? I eat anything with chocolate nuts or caramel in, so that was the natural place to start for me.

If you give us some idea of what you like flavour wise, we can suggest something to start you off with.

Best of luck and I hope vaping works for you.

Blossom
