What's new

Hi Everyone - Not sure if i have a problem with my itaste vv with Iclear 16

What voltage are you using? I find that the iTaste usually tells me to use voltage of 3.3-3.9 with my eVod. I have it set at 3.8 and it works fine. You may have it set too high for the ohm rating of the coil.

You'll find the clearo will get hotter the more puffs you take and vapour will reduce a bit. If you turn it up you'll risk popping the coil.

Im using between 3.8 and 4.1 at the moment, do you think moving to a different clearo from the iclear might make a difference? heard that the iclears can be a bit temperamental

The eVod is well liked here and is the main type I use. I found iclears a bit tight on the itaste.

Does anyone know ideal Voltage i should be using? its the 2.0 ohm not the 1.5ohm version.

Thanks for all your replys so far - been a great help :)

Hold down the 2 buttons together. It'll tell you the range you can use. I usually go one down from the max.

It just tells me what the recommended Voltage is not a range as such, i have the VV not the VV/VW if that makes any difference at all.

I only have the vv too. Got a couple.

When you press both buttons together you should get 2 numbers flash up. Mine usually displays 3.3 and then a second after 3.9. So I then set the voltage to 3.8 by holding down one button until it displays the voltage it's set at already. Then quickly press plus or minus to set the desired voltage.

Thanks Oska i'll give that a go, how long is the life span on these vv models? wonder if i should get a spare and probably order it from the US so i get a cheaper price. Paid £30 for the batt.

I always thought the 2nd number it displays when you hit both buttons together was the battery voltage meter telling me how much power i had left. Leigh - Have you tried replacing the iclear head or giving it a clean?

I cleaned the head this morning and dry burned it a little and it seems to be better so far. Ive heard that fluffing up the wicks is also a good idea to improve vapor to??
