how do you feel about masks

Does anyone know the ruling about having to wear masks/face coverings at work if social distancing isn't always possible ? Will it be compulsory now !

My gut feeling is that it's only in retail outlets - this HSE page still says not:

I think there's a mask rule coming for shops. For me i will self shield as much as possible for as long as neccesary. Diabetes and related problems would probably mean death if i caught it. I think regarding work ,measures must be put in place. I got Vodaphone coming Thursday to fit my new broadband. They have sent me a vid which asks me to wipe down anything near the phone point and where possible social distance and have windows open in the room the work is to be done. The engineer will wipe everything he touches down after the installation. I am looking forward to the free years subscription to Apple tv 4k.

He's only just put signs up and a bottle of (alcohol free) hand sanitizer near the doors. He only did this because an office worker told him a couple of places in Leicester had been closed down because of an outbreak and non compliance of procedures. [emoji57]

I wish I didn’t have to wear one.

If we’d had a competent, astute government instead of this bunch of clueless fuckwits we’d largely be on top of this virus by now. So yeah, I wish I didn’t have to wear one, because there wasn’t sufficient need to.... yet there is, so I’ll do it. I hate them because my glasses get steamed up and feeling like my breathing is restricted reminds me of how panic attacks feel. There aren’t many place I go currently where I’d need to wear one anyway, but that will change if/when I’m back in work

I will bet in fact that the percentage of lesbians who like to fight is exactly the same as straight women who like to fight

Maybe it's hard to tell if they're masked?

And no. I don't like wearing one either. I stopped wearing lenses as I was scared of touching my eyes all the time, and yes my glasses steam up.
