How I wick the Wotofo Profile Unity

If your getting dry hits, remove the build deck and if the wick is still wet you haven't got it tight enough through the mesh.
If the cotton is looking dry, cut the wick a bit shorter that goes into the wick slots so there is a small gap, and make sure if isn't really tight and stuffed into the wick slot, nice and fluffy. That's how wet my wick looks after pulling out the build deck. I would say I've used 3/4 of a strip of cotton bacon. I've updated the original post as I found half a piece isn't thick enough.

What wattage are you using?
Mine looked similar. I do think it’s not enough bacon . It just seems trying to stuff more in pops the mesh off the deck.

I use a full strip & fluff it a bit before wicking. Never had a dry hit on the Unity & only borderline on the RDA coz I forgot to squonk. When you wick it soak the cotton well before reassembly as you will spot any sagging before it's too late.
Is that cotton bacon your using? A full strip looks as though it would be too much for the mesh to stay in contact with the deck and pull away from the screw points.
I was thinking of the second spring method some have tried, but I can’t undo the screw without the underside contact spinning.

At least you know its wicking nicely, just try putting more cotton in, I've never had the mesh come out. Pinch and twist the end your putting in nice and tight and slowly pull the cotton through, it shouldn't go in easy.

Try putting another spring in under the ceramic piece it might help.

The screw that holds the ceramic piece in is reverse threaded so you have to do it up to undo it if you know what I mean.

The easier way is to undo one side of the mesh, roll the cotton in & resecure the mesh. Just don't force it too hard as you'll deform the mesh & create hotspots which cause dry hits. There's a YT vid of a german guy using this method with CB on the RDA. Only the trimming is different.

On the nexmesh I can vape at 75watts comfortably so up the amount of cotton and it should be fine.

Thanks NW. Been there done that. Deformed the mesh, late night working and short tempered through tiredness. Heavy handed. Ended up breaking the contact points off. Then losing the other mesh. Sulked for the rest of the evening.
