How long to phase out tobacco and move onto vaping?

Yes Doofry, already noticing those 2 fags tasting fairly much on the harsh side, a bit rough on the tongue, the pipes even worse, basically too strong to finish.

Every time I read a thread like this I have the biggest cheshire cat grin on my face :D

It is seriously amazing to hear stories of how people have quit smoking and are quitting smoking by switching to vaping. It's the main reason why I started selling them. I had a guy who came in to us yesterday who was 70odd and had been smoking more than 60 years. His mates at the Bingo were using e-cigs indoors and recommended them to him and he wanted to give them a good go. Days when people come back after leaving with a starter kit and then spend ages chatting about how much they are enjoying vaping as an alternative are the best days to be a vendor :)

Truly a great time in personal history when you can leave tobacco behind totally, after trying hundreds of times to quit!!

I would try and offer you some sage advice about quitting but if you try vaping and prefer it to smoking enough to get down to 1 or 2 smokes a day then there is no escape. Sooner or later if you want to quit then you'll phase out those as well. It might take a day, it might take a week or a month or even longer, but it's inevitable.

If you want to give it a helping hand then you could try getting a different higher strength e-liquid and keep it in a seperate clearomiser and then use that when you feel like you need a smoke, first thing in the morning with the coffee, when you're really stressed.

Well done on mostly quitting so far though! - it is more about the ones you don't smoke than the ones you do so the odd smoke here or there doesn't matter much in the general scheme of things.

Hullo VaperCaper. I'm using mainly 24mg at the moment, seems to be enough to get over the cig cravings. Might try your site out soon just checked it now. Do you take Paypal? Out of money now but hopefully soon. Cheers!

Yes we take paypal. I don't think there are many vendor sites around that don't take paypal to be honest.

Just about any of the vendors on the POTV Marketplace are decent I can also tell you that Kraken ecigs and Steathvape are excellent too.

Ask any question you like pretty much any time of the day or night and someone on this excellent forum will have an answer for you pretty quickly. We were all new once and there is no such thing as a stupid question.

i been smoking roughly same amount of time, i went straght from fags to vape, next day i started and gave up the fags bought kit from market with 18mg nicotine but tbh was ok for day or 2 then i started to struggle, so bought a vision spinner and a couple of tanks to try, although i think the kanger evod is my fav, iclear is gd if you need a good hit of nicotine, although it drinks the juice, lol

ive had one relapse, and that was because when i went to wales argentina i had a skinfull and was told to use the vape in the smoking section, which pissed me off as had 50plus smokers round me, so 1 fag in 5wks is pretty darn good i think. and i have no will power at all and have a stressful job,lol

I smoked for 35 years at 20 a day and stopped straight away using a titan tank from totally wicked. Took me a week to get used to it but I havent looked back in 10 months. Have now moved onto mods which opens up a whole world of gadgets to muck around with.

I look at smokers now and just think why are you doing that when there is a viable alternative. I also find the smell from people who have just had a fag is particularly foul.

Like everyone else had said, congrats on your first steps to being stinky free, but don't rush it, do it when you feel you're ready. I was lucky enough to be able to quit cigs altogether and just vape, that was 9 days ago and haven't had the urge to smoke at all. Stress levels have been a hell of a lot better than I thought I would be, especially having kids around.
