how many watts can a 1.6 coil handle? does it work like that?

the coils for the nautilus are rated at roughly 14watts. yes they will take more but not a lot. it also depends on what juice ratio you are using and if you are chain vaping taking big drags often.
14w and under with 50/50 can last upto a month
14w with 70/30 2 and maybe even 3 weeks
the higher the watts the shorter the life
12.5w max is what I use for my heisenburg or manabush.

Does the kabuki perform better MTL than the nautilus lads!? Tempted to get one

For me it 'performs better' at lower wattage than the nautilus, I usually run mine about 8 or 9w, with the same coils.... I think it's because of the shorter chimney. There isn't a massive amount of difference though for obvious reasons, the biggest difference is the adjustability of the airflow really.
