If you often get sore throat or lungs - READ THIS

You're not thinking this through.

I've spent years thinking this through. Anyone can buy 100% pure propylene glycol in 5 litre containers because it's no danger to anyone. I use it all the time when I'm mixing recipes.

I don't know the exact figure but above a certain amount purity you need a license to buy nicotine.

Yes it is possible to have an allergy to PG but look at the percentages of what you're vaping. If you move the decimal pont of the MG figure one place to the left it gives you the percentage. 20mg nic salts is 98% diluted. Why do you think DTL tanks only use 3mg juice which is 99.7% diluted? Because if you put any juices in it with higher nic it is unvapable.

Then if you agree that PG can be an irritant - re-read your original post and maybe amend it.

I'm aware of how nic percentages affect how much nicotine you ingest. Putting higher nic levels in DL isn't necessarily unvapeable - for most it isn't required as 3mg is sufficient for them. 6mg DL vaping isn't common but some vapers do DL 6mg - you've forgotten that if they only take half the number of hits then they aren't ingesting twice the amount of nic.

You're fixating on one aspect (the nic content) and overlooking another major aspect - i.e. how much juice/nic you vape.
10mls of 20mg nic is more than 60mls of 3mg .

By the way. When you buy 5 litre containers of PG it is 100% pure propylene glycol. Would it be so widely used in foods and cosmetics if it was so allergenic?

"Manners Maketh Man" Gentlemen!! You may, or may not agree with the content, but some of the responses, especially the name calling, isn't on! Show some respect PLEASE! :12:

I can buy peanuts anywhere without a licence. Does this mean my friend is imagining his allergy.

Somebody needs to re-read their first post.

Sticking to this PG myth and burying our heads in the sand only hurts us. If we try to hide from the truth it only gives the anti vaping lobby greater ammunition against us.

I’m sure a tiny proportion of people can have an allergy to PG but for the vast majority of vapers isn’t it better to know the real reason that’s causing it?

Dtl tanks don't only use 3mg juices, they use whatever concentration of juice a person chooses. It may be the most popular, but plenty of people vape concentrations over 3mg dtl.

Perhaps the reason you don't need a license to buy peanuts is because the number of allergy sufferers is so small, as is the number of genuine PG allergy sufferers which is why they don't have a problem with putting it is so many foods and cosmetics.

Absolutely! Then try vaping 20mg nic (98% diluted) in a sub ohm tank and tell us how you get on.
