Now let me start by saying what a great forum this is!!

Now to my problem as I said in my introduction I am a complete newbie in the world of ECigs and I have been smoking well over 10 years of my life.

I have read through the "newbie" questions and even them are well advanced for me.

This maybe answered else where and I it is if someone could point me in the right direction I would be grateful but where do I start -_-?!?
I'm looking for something to kick start me off something reliable and that is a good starter for me to work with ( as I have heard that some of the vapours out there can take quite a lot of maintenance so I'm looking for something stylish but easy to work with till get more into the world that is electronics cigs.

Thanks I look forward to the replys

Ps money isn't really an object here as I'm spending wayyy more on cigs/rolleys at the moment hence why I would like something in the range of £50 to start with

Thanks again

Hi Jazathome and welcome into the world of vaping you won't regret it, there is alot of information out there that can get way to confusing but eventually it does start to sink in. :)

As for a kit you could try an ego starter with a clearomizer as they are easy to use and maintain.

There are many things to consider here-mostly how big you want to go! You could go for something big but many people feel a little self conscious walking around with something huge at first. The main advice I would give is to make sure you have something spare just in case. If you go for an ego kit (no frills but solid and dependable) make sure you get a kit that has 2 batteries so you always have a spare charged up so you don't get stuck without :)

Hi, I just started vaping last week with a jacvapour v1p starter kit. It's one of the ones that looks like a cigarette. It's been really good for me and I haven't had a roll up since I got but I kind of wish I'd got something like the clearomiser set mentioned above, something a bit more substantial as I'm already trying to decide what to upgrade to. I think that kind of kit would've been a better choice.
Having said that I really have no complaints about my jacvapour kit and if you're after something that looks like a cig I'd recommend it.

I definitely suggest the ego starter kit with two batteries and the clearmisers :D

Thanks for the advice people I'm currently at work but I will defiantly look into them when I get home now the thing that I really don't want is one that actually looks like a cig but I was trolling the Internet earlier and found the joye510 to be quite interesting any views on that?

What they said :).

Dude, welcome aboard, pull up a chair, and suck in all the information, opinions and advice that is being and going to be offered. Get through, the rest of your working day, get home, relax, change into 'civvies' and log back on, and settle in for the night.

You will get lots of advice, and believe me, I have been here very limited time, but you are just about to embark on a journey which is exiciting to say the least, if not a bit confusing at times :)

You have done the hard bit, and that was to register!

Also, there are several vendors on here, look under the 'discount codes' at the top, and you will get some savings, every little helps ;) Every vendor I have used, has given me excellent advice, service and more importantly honesty.

I too, didnt know what I wanted to start with, and decided that I would go for a shiny VV/VW mod straight off, as I was hearing people say, they started off on 'starter kits' and found the desire to upgrade pretty quickly. I thought this would save me money in the long run, big mistake, as I have bought a few more since!! However, personal choice has led me to use CE4 on a Vamo, as I find this is just right for me, and it really is 'horses for courses'.

How many a day do you smoke? (remember you are in the company of ex-smokers, so no need to 'chop' 50% off ;) )

Haha no problem it is good to speak and not lie about how many you really smoke
I usually smoke amber leaf rolleys and would have to say minimum 15 - 20 a day now I'm not sure what the Nic rates work out at on that. (ps I'm home now :) )

If these are what you mean: http://www.joyetech.com/product/510.php, then they are cig-a-likes, I know they don't look identical to ciggies, but they are about the same size, I had the jacvapour cig-a-likes to begin with, and they are fine, they will get you through the day, though I had three different ones on the go, and soon progressed to slightly larger ego type devices, which last longer, and have more smoke/vape power. I didn't need to though, you might be fine with such things, some vape folk can be a bit uppity about them, but most don't give a damn, and neither should you, if it works, it works, as previously asked, it might help to know what and how much you smoke on an average day. Also, what are you looking for flavours wise?
